OUR STORY
IT STARTED WITH ONE BAT
When my son was ready to begin training with wood, we searched for a premium maple bat that matched his stage of development.
We couldn't find one.
Nearly every premium wood bat on the market was built as a traditional Pro Drop 3, leaving younger players with very few premium options.
So I built the bat I couldn't buy.
I found a supplier of professional-grade maple, turned a custom Drop 5 bat to match his composite gamer, and put it in his hands.
Then something unexpected happened.
Other players saw it.
Coaches started asking about it.
Parents wanted one for their own athletes.
That's when Blacktip Baseball was born.
Players asked for our bat.
Today, that same philosophy guides every Blacktip bat we build—from the Performance Series to our Team Collections and Heritage Collections.
Each Blacktip bat is still built with that same belief that every player deserves premium equipment, regardless of age or stage of development.
